Still of Berlin

I went through the worst period of the pandemic untouched. But Covid caught me early last year despite three doses of vaccination. I had side effects until the end of May and was pretty sick. However, last year was the first year after the pandemic when I had a chance from June to September to hit the road again and take a camera in my hand. I had a lot of work last year, especially in the fall, so even though I took many photos in five different locations, this year I still needed and will need to copy many remaining photos from memory cards to my laptop.

The last batch of Berlin photos I rediscovered yesterday were taken around the new Berlin Central Station as we walked to the Brandenburg Gate on its west side. Above one of those photos showing, in contrast to the photos I’ve been posting in recent weeks, the modern Berlin architecture.
