The last three days were non-stop. We barely slept. Not thinking about jet lag and the time difference. Taken in Tokyo from Odaiba, an artificial island in Tokyo Bay, Japan, across the Rainbow Bridge. Yesterday.

First impressions: people are incredibly polite, even help you with advice when they see that you are unaware of a problem. The food is delicious. Sake if drunken properly (either cold or warmed), too. If you travel by train, remember trains are punctual, clean and music plays just before doors close. However, to change the train, you have to walk between platforms, and this can be miles. Stories about people in white gloves who provide for your safety while in transit are true. More to come …
